Our Code of Conduct
Members will at all times only act in the interests of the aims of the group.
Members will signal courtesy, respect and professionalism in their exchanges with each other, and with representatives of other organisations and services.
Members will welcome all and will not discriminate on any grounds based on protected characteristics.
Abusive behaviour, signalling bullying or harassment, on-line or physical, will not be tolerated and will lead to suspension of membership.
Members may not use the Friends of Grand Union Canal as a forum for single issue complaints.
Members agree to the monitoring of posts on social media for unacceptable content, which will be removed.
Members should not speak or write on behalf of the group without the prior agreement of an officer of the Management Committee.
Members will declare any potential conflict of interest in any issues being discussed and decisions made.
